The Living Area
Passing through the library alcove and into the main living area, one finds a true sanctuary. The floorplan is limited only by your imagination. High ceilings, elegant mouldings, a generous picture window with a deep, trimmed sill... These are just some of the aspects of this most comfortable and obliging space.
On the verso of the overhead bookcase is a wide bank of built-in storage cabinets, nearly two feet deep, faced with paneled doors and fine brass knobs. Large enough to accomodate luggage, supplies, or an off-season wardrobe, this could be the equivalent of that expensive off-premises storage unit!
Extra thick perimeter walls keep the building well insulated and amazingly peaceful. Keep your cool on the hottest days with the efficient and super-quiet Panasonic air conditioner, while clean in-wall radiant heat takes care of the winter months. Ample AC outlets, courtesy of a recent building-wide electrical upgrade, provide enough circuits and power for the most addicted techno- or media-phile.
The living area is wired for land-line telephone (two jacks-- one in the library) as well as Time Warner digital cable/VOIP/Internet. Various media connections feed a pair of audio speakers and a cable outlet in the kitchen.
